Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have high school diploma or GED
- Read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient for successful job performance
- Have some understanding of early childhood development
- Obtain STARS registry number and background check through the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF)
- Bloodborne Pathogens and HIV training
- 1st Aid/CPR certification. *CPR training has to be in-person and include infants, children and adults
- Food Handlers Card
- Complete 30 Hours STARS (Child Care Basics) within 90 days of employment
- Complete DCYF trainings (Online and Free)
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- MMR (measles) vaccine documentation
- Covid-19 vaccine documentation
