Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have high school diploma or GED
• Read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient for successful job performance
• Have some understanding of early childhood development
• Obtain STARS registry number and background check through the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF)
• Bloodborne Pathogens and HIV training
• 1st Aid/CPR certification.  *CPR training has to be in-person and include infants, children and adults
• Food Handlers Card
• Complete 30 Hours STARS (Child Care Basics) within 90 days of employment
• Complete DCYF trainings (Online and Free)
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months
• MMR (measles) vaccine documentation
• Covid-19 vaccine documentation
